
Muki Dogs
Muki Dogs is a traditional plant-based hot dog stand offering all the familiar flavors you enjoy while merging new and original toppings. Conceived and forged out of the depths of the COVID pandemic, Muki Dogs keeps it cool and simple. The founder Gene, learned the art of slanging dogs from his parents who owned and operated a family run hot dog stand back in Guam. After serving 21 years in the United States Air Force, he retired in January of 2020 on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Chilling in Gene’s garage was a hot dog stand he purchased years before as a contingency plan. He set to work knowing that in order to get things moving fast and efficient, he’ll have to keep things simple and fun.
First things first was the product – one dog to rule them all. It was 2020 and meat was out. Offering a totally plant-based menu allowed him to create something fun and familiar, while providing a healthy contribution to the community he loves.
